GeneralWhich SurveyCalc edition is right for me?
SurveyCalc comes in three editions:
- AutoCAD Plugin — survey tools that run inside AutoCAD.
- SurveyCalc Standalone — a complete Windows CAD and survey platform with its own CAD engine. No AutoCAD required.
- SurveyCalc Android — the field companion for Android tablets and phones, with cloud sync to the Windows app.

How do I make a payment?
All SurveyCalc payments are processed securely through PayMongo. When you subscribe or activate from inside the app, you are redirected to the PayMongo checkout page in your browser, where you can pay with GCash, Maya or other e-wallets, credit card, and more. For your security, payments are only processed from inside the official SurveyCalc app or website — we never send payment links through SMS or Messenger.
Can I use SurveyCalc on multiple computers or devices?
SurveyCalc licenses are machine-locked — one license per machine or device. If you want to run SurveyCalc on another computer or Android device, you'll need a license for that machine as well.

What subscription plans are available for SurveyCalc Standalone?
Windows and Android use the same billing plans, each covering one device:
- 1 Month — ₱1,499 (30 days of access)
- 3 Months — ₱4,049 (90 days, save 10% vs monthly)
- 6 Months — ₱7,649 (180 days, save 15% vs monthly)
- 1 Year — ₱14,999 (365 days, save 17% vs monthly)
How do I activate SurveyCalc Standalone?
Open the subscription / license screen in the app, enter your Gmail account, select a billing plan, then click Subscribe to complete payment through PayMongo. After paying, return to the app and click Status (or Refresh) — your license activates once the payment is confirmed, usually within a few seconds. When it shows "Saved license is valid", you're ready to go. Step-by-step guides are on the Windows and Android download pages.
How do I update to a new version?
Download the new version from the download page and install it over the top — do not uninstall the old version first. Your license and saved settings carry over automatically, so you won't need to pay or activate again. Note: uninstalling the app may remove the license. If that happens, open the license dialog and click Restore to restore your license.
What if I change to a new device?
Your subscription is tied to your device. A new device requires a new license.
Windows blocked my installer download. What do I do?
This is normal for a new installer that Windows doesn't recognize yet. If the browser flags the download, choose Keep. If Windows shows a "Windows protected your PC" SmartScreen message, click More info, then Run anyway. On Windows 11, Smart App Control may block the installer entirely — turn it off in Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control settings. Why does Android warn me when installing the app?
SurveyCalc for Android is installed directly from our website rather than the Google Play Store, so Android shows a one-time security prompt about installing from an unknown source. This is standard for apps distributed outside the Play Store — tap Settings on the prompt, turn on Allow from this source, and continue. The full walkthrough is on the Android download page.
How do I activate my plugin license?
After successfully installing the SurveyCalc plugin, the first window you will see is the License Form. This form is used to activate your license and enable all plugin functions.
What license terms are available for the plugin?
The AutoCAD Plugin has the same subscription plans as SurveyCalc Standalone, plus a perpetual license:
- 1 Month — ₱1,499 (30 days of access)
- 3 Months — ₱4,049 (90 days, save 10% vs monthly)
- 6 Months — ₱7,649 (180 days, save 15% vs monthly)
- 1 Year — ₱14,999 (365 days, save 17% vs monthly)
- Perpetual License — ₱25,000 + VAT (one-time payment)
To pay: select your license term in the License Form, click Subscribe (or Activate Perpetual), and complete the transaction on the PayMongo checkout page.
Does the plugin require an internet connection?
Yes, an internet connection is required for the initial activation and periodic license checks. However, the plugin includes a 30-day grace period, allowing you to continue using every function even if you are temporarily offline.
What happens after a successful payment?
Once the payment is successfully processed:
- A license token will be automatically issued to your device.
- All functions of the SurveyCalc Plugin will be instantly enabled.
- You can confirm your license status in SurveyCalc Menu -> License Status within the plugin.
What is a Subscription License?
A Subscription License offers full access to the SurveyCalc plugin for your selected 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, or 1-year term. The plugin performs a brief "handshake" with our server at least once every 30 days. Once the handshake is successful, you can continue to use the plugin even if you go offline (up to the grace period). To ensure uninterrupted service, simply connect to the internet and open the plugin regularly. Renew at the end of your selected term to continue using the service.
Why Choose Monthly Subscription?
Machine-Locked, But Worry-Free
Your subscription is locked to one computer at a time, but unlike permanent licenses, it is not forever trapped in one machine.
- License validity resets every month
- If your computer is damaged, reformatted, upgraded, or replaced, you simply subscribe again and activate on your new machine
- All future SurveyCalc innovations (including AI OCR, cadastral map recognition, and cloud-based processing) are built on online connectivity and are fully supported under the subscription system.
What is the Perpetual License?
The Perpetual License represents a long-term investment in SurveyCalc. For security and ongoing verification, this license requires a server handshake at least once every month. After the handshake is completed, the plugin remains fully functional offline for the remainder of the month. You only need to be connected to the internet once every 30 days to maintain your license status.
I purchased SurveyCalc Plugin version 1-3. What happens when I install the latest version?
Customers who purchased the SurveyCalc Plugin versions 1 to 3 will be converted to a Perpetual License when they install the latest updated SurveyCalc installer. Once installed, follow the usual installation process. If SurveyCalc finds a valid older version (v1-3) license, it will ask you to update the license and it will be updated seamlessly.
How do I install or update the SurveyCalc Plugin?
Before installing SurveyCalc, make sure AutoCAD is already installed on your machine. Then install SurveyCalc. Version 5.02 includes the One Command workflow, so SurveyCalc can be loaded and operated from one SurveyCalc command path after setup. Once SurveyCalc is successfully installed:
1) Run AutoCAD
2) Type APPLOAD in the command line
3) In the Load Application dialog, under Startup Suite, click Contents
4) In the Startup Suite dialog, click Add
5) Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\SurveyCalc.bundle\Contents
If ProgramData is not visible, in File Explorer enable Show -> Hidden items
6) Select SurveyCalcStartup.lsp and click Open
7) In the command line, type MENUBAR, then set the value to 1
8) Close the dialogs and restart AutoCAD
9) Download the needed files from the Resources page to complete the installation
After this, the plugin will load automatically each time AutoCAD starts.

How do I access Tutorials?
Sign in with your Google account. Once your license is verified, the Tutorials page will unlock.
Which Google account should I use?
Use the same email address you used when purchasing your license. The Tutorials page only unlocks for the Google account tied to a valid license.
I signed in but I still can't access Tutorials.
This usually means you signed in with a different Google account than the one used to purchase your license. Sign out and sign back in with the email used during purchase.
How do I sign out?
Use the Logout link in the top navigation bar. You can sign back in anytime.
